this is a 3d model i have done for my uni work. modeled in 3ds max, textured in Photoshop. then rendered in mental ray with post processing in Photoshop again.
It started off as an off road train in the design stage but it sort of escalated and got cannons. Ive always been thinking rage/borderlands but as my model developed i decided to go more with borderlands. so i textured it with loads of toon lines in the texture itself.
total of 16,130 tris. for my project my tri limit is roughly 10k but only counts 1 wheel so im pushing it a bit with 10.5k tris so i will have to cut down on my charicter a bit.
